We endeavour to make the website of the German Lost Art Foundation accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz – BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung – BITV 2.0), which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
State of compliance with requirements
The accessibility requirements arise from sections 3(1) to (4) and section 4 of BITV 2.0, issued on the basis of section 12d BGG.
Compliance with the requirements was verified by ALLES+JEDEN GmbH in an accessibility audit conducted between September 29, 2025, and October 30, 2025.
Based on this audit, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following incompatibilities.
The content listed below is not fully accessible for the following reasons:
- We currently do not provide any content in German Sign Language.
- PDF documents are not yet consistently accessible, for example because they are historical documents.
