The German Lost Art Foundation publishes explanatory films on provenance research

The German Lost Art Foundation has published explanatory films on central topics of provenance research on its website. The three vividly animated films provide answers to the questions: "What is provenance research?", "What are just and fair solutions?" and "What is the Lost Art Database?".

The videos are freely available for download and can be embedded in multimedia guides, media stations and websites. Above all, they are intended to benefit the cultural heritage institutions funded by the center, such as museums, libraries and archives, which integrate provenance and restitution issues into their educational work and make research results available to the general public through exhibitions and other educational formats.

The explanatory films are published under the Creative Commons license "CC BY-NC-ND 4.0" (attribution - non commercial - share alike 4.0 International). The German language videos are also available with English subtitles.
